Commercial Real Estate Entrepreneur David Rounick of Penn Valley Launches New Website DavidRounick.com
Site to Feature Informative Real Estate and Business Blog
Penn Valley, Pa. – March 12, 2013 – David Rounick, 37, of Penn Valley, Pennsylvania, a commercial real estate developer and apparel entrepreneur, has launched a new website, DavidRounick.com, to showcase his commitment to commercial real estate investments that benefit the greater Philadelphia region, as well as Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Oklahoma.
“My passion lies in the revitalization of urban areas, to develop them into viable and exciting areas. With DavidRounick.com, I can share my passion with others who are interested in investing or redeveloping apartment buildings, apartment complexes, student housing and mixed-use commercial projects,” explains David Rounick.
Rounick credits his family’s company, which established the once publicly traded retail stores Deb Shops Inc. and its subsidiary Tops & Bottoms, for his first introduction into the commercial real estate arena. While working for his father, Marvin Rounick, David was involved in finding and assessing new mall locations for the retail stores.
After his family sold the company, Rounick focused on acquiring commercial real estate and investment opportunities, with an eye towards redeveloping distressed commercial properties.
In addition, Rounick is investing in his own apparel business, EPM Apparel LLC and its first high-end women’s apparel brand, Ookie & LaLa. “You could say that real estate, fashion and mass marketing of apparel are in my blood, thanks to my family’s history in the business,” notes Rounick. The new Ookie & Lala website was also recently launched at http://www.ookieandlala.com.
DavidRounick.com also features a real estate blog that provides his perspective on the commercial real estate industry as a global real estate developer and investor, as well as industry news and trends.
The website also features many of the charities that Rounick contributes his time and money to in an effort to promote their efforts in benefiting the communities in which they serve. Among them are Jewish Adoption & Foster Care Options (JAFCO), Children’s Crisis Treatment Center, the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), the Jewish Family and Children’s Services of Greater Philadelphia, THON, and various Philadelphia fire and police fundraisers.
“I am always connected to my community and will remain so through charity and expansion of local operations,” notes Rounick. “It allows me to keep a positive influence in as many ways as possible.”
